Marketing Specialist at Talent Pod Asia in Remote
Job Description
Performance Marketing Specialist (Google Ads & Meta Ads)
Company: Singapore-based Edu Services
Compensation: Based on experience and qualifications
We are a Singapore-based robotics and STEM education provider dedicated to helping children develop creativity, critical thinking, problem-solving and other essential future-ready skills.
We operate multiple learning centres across Singapore and are committed to making quality robotics education accessible to more families.
As we continue to grow, we are looking for a talented and results-driven Performance Marketing Specialist to strengthen our digital marketing efforts.
About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on Performance Marketing Specialist to take ownership of our paid advertising campaigns, primarily across Google Ads and Meta Ads (Facebook and Instagram).
Your main objective is to increase the volume and quality of leads while continuously improving marketing efficiency.
We are not looking for someone who simply launches advertisements, monitors dashboards or increases budgets to generate more leads.
We want someone who understands the bigger picture, analyses data, researches market opportunities, tests new approaches and proactively improves campaign performance.
You will work remotely with our Singapore team and play an important role in driving customer acquisition and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Paid Advertising Management
- Plan, launch, manage and optimise campaigns across Google Ads and Meta Ads. Manage advertising budgets efficiently to maximise qualified lead generation. Continuously improve cost per lead (CPL), lead quality and conversion performance. Conduct structured testing across audiences, creatives, messaging, campaign objectives and landing pages. Develop and optimise remarketing and audience targeting strategies. Identify underperforming campaigns and take proactive corrective action. Stay updated with changes to Google and Meta advertising platforms, including new features and algorithm updates.
2. Performance Analysis & Optimisation
- Monitor key metrics including CPL, CPC, CTR, conversion rate, cost per qualified lead and customer acquisition cost. Analyse campaign performance and identify opportunities to improve results without unnecessarily increasing advertising spend. Work with our internal team to understand lead quality, booking rates and actual customer conversions. Ensure accurate conversion tracking through tools such as GA4, Google Tag Manager and Meta Pixel. Investigate tracking discrepancies and recommend improvements. Provide concise weekly performance updates, including key insights, actions taken and planned experiments. Recommend budget allocation based on campaign performance and business outcomes.
3. Market Research & Campaign Strategy
- Conduct competitor research and analyse market trends to identify new advertising opportunities. Research target audiences, customer motivations, pain points and buying behaviour. Identify and test compelling marketing angles and value propositions. Monitor emerging advertising trends, creative formats and consumer behaviour. Develop campaign hypotheses and test them systematically. Translate research findings into actionable campaign strategies.
4. Creative Strategy & Copywriting
- Propose creative concepts, advertising angles, headlines and campaign messaging. Develop advertising copy and creative briefs for different target audiences. Use AI tools to assist with copywriting, creative ideation, research and content production. Collaborate with our internal team on images, videos and other advertising assets. Evaluate creative performance and recommend improvements based on data.
Advanced graphic design and video editing skills are not mandatory. Strong creative thinking and the ability to leverage AI tools are more important.
5. Continuous Learning & Innovation
- Keep up with the latest developments in performance marketing, AI and digital advertising. Explore new AI tools and automation opportunities to improve marketing productivity. Proactively recommend new strategies, tools and experiments. Continuously refine campaign strategies based on results and market developments. Share useful insights and industry developments with the team.
Requirements
Must Have
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience managing performance marketing campaigns, preferably 3 years or more. Proven experience managing BOTH Google Ads and Meta Ads. Demonstrated success in lead generation campaigns, not just brand awareness or engagement campaigns. Strong understanding of campaign optimisation, audience targeting, conversion tracking and budget management. Ability to interpret advertising data and turn insights into practical actions. Experience with Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager and Meta Pixel. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good written and spoken English. Ability to work independently, manage priorities and communicate effectively in a remote environment. Proactive attitude, strong sense of ownership and commitment to continuous learning.
Good to Have
- Experience marketing education, enrichment, training or other consumer services. Experience generating leads through WhatsApp campaigns and landing pages. Knowledge of conversion rate optimisation (CRO) and landing page performance. Familiarity with CRM systems and tracking leads through the sales funnel. Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Canva AI or similar platforms. Ability to produce advertising creatives, short-form videos or persuasive copy. Understanding of SEO fundamentals and organic search strategies. Experience with marketing automation and reporting dashboards. Familiarity with the Singapore consumer market.
What Success Looks Like
We measure success by business outcomes, not simply impressions, clicks or advertising spend.
Your key performance indicators will include:
1. Qualified Lead Growth: Increasing the number of relevant, high-intent leads.2. Cost Efficiency: Reducing or maintaining cost per qualified lead while improving lead volume.3. Lead Conversion Quality: Improving the percentage of leads that progress to bookings and enrolments.4. Campaign Improvement: Consistently testing, learning and optimising campaign performance.5. Proactive Contribution: Identifying opportunities and recommending improvements without waiting for instructions.
We value sustainable improvement over short-term results that cannot be maintained.
What We Offer
- Fully remote working arrangement. Opportunity to take ownership of performance marketing for a growing education brand. Freedom to propose, experiment with and implement new marketing strategies. Support from an internal team for business insights and campaign content. AI-friendly working environment that encourages innovation and continuous learning. Opportunity for a long-term working relationship based on performance.
