Warehouse Assistant, Telecommunications at TAK Broadband in Austin,TX

Summary: TAK Broadband is a leading end-to-end U.S. fiber broadband network construction contractor operating in 42 states, connecting communities to valuable digital opportunities. The Warehouse Assistant will ensure the warehouse is cleaned and organized while tracking and managing inventory, placing orders, and assisting technicians with equipment. Responsibilities: - Maintain warehouse, ensuring it remains cleaned and organized - Track and maintain inventory for all equipment & parts, keeping items locked and organized - Place orders and manage intake of deliveries, stocking shelves - Issue/return equipment to Technician’s on a daily and weekly basis - Complete a daily reconciliation of technician equipment levels - Participate in company vehicle management: clean and detail vehicles, deliver vehicles requiring repair to the repair shop - Assign uniforms, tools, and safety gear to all technicians; ensuring invoices are signed - Other duties as assigned Required Qualifications: - 1+ years of warehouse experience required - Excellent customer service, time management, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills - Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers - Ability to work independently - Ability to complete work indoors, outdoors, in tight spaces and elevated by bending, reaching, twisting, climbing, and working while standing up to 70% of the time - Ability to safely navigate various terrains, managing equipment and tools - Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs on occasion - Must provide a valid government-issued photo ID for verification; a driver's license is required if the role involves driving - Passing of all pre-employment requirements (MVR, Background Check, Drug Screen) Preferred Qualifications: - Experience working in telecommunications a plus - Ability to operate a pallet jack and certified forklift operator preferred - Experience working with Microsoft Office products, specifically Outlook and Excel a plus Required Skills: Warehouse Operations, Inventory Management, Telecommunications, Pallet Jack Operation, Forklift Operation, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, Customer Service, Troubleshooting Benefits: Full Benefits Package (Medical, Dental & Vision), Paid Time Off, 401(k) with Company Match!, 25K Company Paid Life Insurance, Independent Work & Team Collaboration, Career Development & Advancement Opportunities!
