Summary: T-Mobile is a leading innovator in the wireless industry, and they are seeking a Cyber Root Cause Remediation Intern to join their Cybersecurity Threat Response Remediation Team. The role involves collaborating with cybersecurity professionals to analyze and remediate risks identified during investigations, while supporting root cause analysis of vulnerabilities. Responsibilities: - Cybersecurity intrusion analysis concepts and techniques - Understanding of security incident investigation and log analysis - Technical skills development - Investigating security incidents, threats and vulnerabilities Required Qualifications: - At least 18 years of age - Legally authorized to work in the United States - Must be actively enrolled in a Bachelors or Graduate degree program - Shown knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, topology, OSI model and network forensics) - Operating systems (Windows/MacOS/Linux) - Web technologies (web applications, database security, web servers) - Knowledge of Scripting tools (Python/Perl/Shell/HTML/PHP) - Ability to read and understand system data, including, but not limited to, security event logs, system logs, and firewall logs - Employees of T-Mobile or Metro by T-Mobile are ineligible for Internships Required Skills: Cybersecurity analysis, Networking knowledge, Operating systems Important Skills: Web technologies, Scripting tools Nice-to-Have Skills: Technical skills development, Log analysis, Incident investigation Internship Start Date: Start in 2026 Summer Benefits: Relocation assistance may be provided to program participants who reside more than 50 miles from the internship location.
