Frontend Software Developer Intern - Fall… at Synopsys Inc · Remote

Summary: Synopsys creates high-performance silicon chips and technology that support pervasive intelligence and connected innovations. The Frontend Software Developer Intern will integrate a 3D visualization viewer into the Ansys Dynamic Reporting platform, expand visualization workflows, and help process simulation data for automated report generation using Python, JavaScript, and Git.

Responsibilities:
- Integrate a new 3D visualization viewer into the Ansys Dynamic Reporting (ADR) platform, enhancing the current 3D viewing capabilities
- Expand the range of supported visualization workflows, giving engineers greater flexibility when embedding interactive 3D models into simulation reports
- Collaborate with engineering teams to collect, aggregate, and process simulation data for automated report generation
- Work hands-on with Python, JavaScript, and Git within a collaborative, innovative environment
- Contribute ideas to improve how simulation results are explored, visualized, and communicated

Required Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field in the penultimate year of study
- Experience with Python and JavaScript programming languages
- Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git
- Strong interest in learning about engineering simulation and data visualization

Preferred Qualifications:
- Interest in 3D visualization and any exposure to VTK technology
