At Sweet Candy Company, our mission is to Make Life Sweet. In Maintenance, that means keeping our lines safe, reliable, and running at their best. As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you’ll keep all our production equipment running, with a focus on the electrical controls and automation behind it.

We’re one of the oldest family-owned candy companies in the U.S., making taffy, chocolate sticks, cinnamon bears, and other favorites. We keep investing in automation and reliability, and we need technicians who can keep up with it and help push it forward.

If you’re a maintenance pro who’s strongest when the problem is in the panel, we want to hear from you.

• Diagnose problems that cross systems: electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic
• Read and work from schematics, wiring diagrams, ladder logic, and one-lines
• Maintain and repair motors, gearboxes, conveyors, pumps, bearings, belts, and chains
• Install, modify, and wire control panels and production equipment
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance, and document work in our maintenance system
• Find root causes and recommend improvements that reduce downtime
• Partner with production, quality, sanitation, and leadership to keep lines running
• Follow all safety, LOTO, NFPA 70E, GMP, and food safety requirements
