Job Description
Summary: Kaplan is a global leader in education, serving over 1 million students each year. The Desktop Operations Intern will provide exceptional customer service and technical assistance, supporting the Desktop Operations team in resolving technical issues and ensuring the maintenance of personal computing technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Engage and participate in leadership workshops covering topics such as: Mentorship, Professional Development, and Networking opportunities
- Interns must be available for the 9-week program from June 8, 2026 - August 7, 2026
- Create and design and a “Kapstone” project that will have a direct impact on the business
- Assist KNA Desktop Operations Technical Support Analysts in their day to day activities-including box shipment program and inventory auditing
- Perform Regular checks of multimedia equipment
- Perform regular equipment set up, breakdown, and other physical equipment moves ( up to 50 lbs)
- Interact with customers and stakeholders to perform on site and remote hardware/software break fix troubleshooting
- Engage with KNA Desktop Operations Team Members in regular team meetings
- Report to assigned post at assigned schedule
- Provide on-site customer service for customer interactions such as equipment drop of and pick up
- Provide updates of activities to management as requested
Required Qualifications:
- Active undergraduate student in their Sophomore, Junior, or Senior year
- Demonstrated academic achievement
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Enthusiastic and has a growth mindset, ability to successfully manage multiple tasks and priorities, adaptable, a critical thinker, organized and collaborative
