About the Role

We're seeking a Delivery Frameworks & Assurance Lead to join the Value Realisation Office (VRO) on a 9 month fixed term contract or secondment, with the opportunity to extend. You’ll contribute to the evolution of Suncorp's delivery governance and assurance practices while supporting initiatives that strengthen delivery quality, consistency and regulatory confidence across the organisation. The role combines ongoing assurance activities with transformation work on a significant program (ExcelR8) that is reshaping how governance aligns to the delivery lifecycle.

What You'll Do

• Support enterprise assurance activities by coordinating quarterly reviews, gathering inputs, analysing delivery information, tracking actions, and preparing reporting that supports governance and regulatory obligations.
• Partner with delivery leaders and stakeholders to assess scope, review adherence to delivery guardrails, and provide practical guidance that supports consistent delivery outcomes.
• Contribute to the design and continuous improvement of delivery frameworks, governance approaches and standards that enable effective delivery across Suncorp.
• Support the Excelr8 transformation program by helping redesign and modernise governance practices, ensuring alignment with the delivery lifecycle and future ways of working.
• Use delivery insights, stakeholder feedback and data to identify opportunities for simplification, automation and improved delivery experiences across teams.
• Build strong relationships across VRO, Technology & Operations, governance functions and delivery teams to support adoption, transparency and continuous improvement.

What You'll Bring

• Experience working in delivery, PMO, portfolio, project, risk, governance, assurance or delivery enablement environments. This experience is essential for success in the role.
• A practical understanding of project and delivery methodologies, including Agile, hybrid or traditional delivery approaches, and how they operate in complex organisations.
• Experience supporting governance or assurance activities through reporting, documentation, action tracking, analysis or stakeholder coordination.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate information, identify improvement opportunities and recommend practical solutions.
• The confidence to work with stakeholders at all levels, translating governance requirements into clear and practical guidance that supports delivery teams.
• Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, Power BI or similar delivery platforms. Exposure to AI, automation or organisational change initiatives will be highly regarded.
