Retail Manager in Training Full Time at Sun Tan City in Lexington, KY

Summary: Sun Tan City is one of the largest family-owned tanning salon chains in the country, and they are seeking a Retail Manager in Training. This role involves leading daily salon operations, coaching team members, and ensuring excellent customer service in a high-energy environment.

Responsibilities:
- Help manage the day-to-day operations of the salon in a fast-paced environment
- Lead by example in client service, sales performance, and professionalism
- Create a welcoming, client-focused experience that supports loyalty and repeat business
- Maintain a clean, polished, and professional salon environment
- Set clear goals and expectations for team members
- Coach, train, and give feedback to improve team performance
- Help generate sales reports, monitor inventory, and support operational tasks
- Assist the Salon Director in managing revenue, expenses, staffing, and labor costs
- Support proper scheduling and coverage to maximize productivity and customer service
- Be available to work evenings and weekends as needed for management coverage

- Management and/or sales experience is preferred, but not required
- Basic computer skills, including the ability to use Word, Excel, and Outlook
