The Role
Lead a high-performing Neurosurgical sales team and make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes across New South Wales and Queensland.

What you will do
Lead and develop a regional team of 5 Territory Managers and 1 Associate Territory Manager, driving performance, capability uplift, and internal progression.
Deliver regional sales growth by achieving and exceeding revenue, market share, and profitability targets across your territories.
Build credible, long-term relationships with neurosurgeons, theatre teams, hospital stakeholders, and key decision-makers to deepen account partnerships.
Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned to customer needs, clinical trends, and competitive dynamics within the Neurosurgical space.
Set and manage territory targets, resource allocation, and service support to optimise coverage, responsiveness, and customer experience.
Recruit, onboard, and coach talent, ensuring strong time-to-productivity and sustained high performance across the team.
Analyse sales performance and provide accurate forecasting, pipeline visibility, and actionable insights against plan.
Represent the business at conferences, education sessions, and strategic initiatives, contributing to Stryker’s presence in the Neurosurgical market.
What you will need
Required
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a sales management role with direct people leadership responsibility.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in field-based sales.
Professional proficiency in English.
Valid driver’s licence.
Preferred
Experience leading sales teams within medical devices, healthcare, or a similarly regulated, clinically complex environment.
Exposure to Neurosurgical, Spine, or capital-intensive product portfolios.
Experience managing geographically dispersed teams across multiple states.
Additional Information
Work arrangement: Field-based leadership role covering New South Wales and Queensland.
Travel: Regular intrastate and interstate travel required, including customer visits, team development, and industry events.
