Job Description
*Candidates must be based in Jaipur *
1. Job Summary
JPDS has built software for the construction industry for over 18 years, working with construction companies, project developers, housing corporations and after-sales teams across the Netherlands and Belgium. Structos India, based in Jaipur, is the India arm of the business it develops and delivers the product for the European market, and is now replicating that model within India's construction and real-estate sector.
Both businesses need a steady, predictable flow of the right kind of B2B opportunities companies that genuinely fit what we sell, reached by the right person, at the right time. This role owns that end to end: working out who to target, reaching them well, and making sure the leads that reach sales are actually worth their time.
This is a hands-on role, not a supervisory one. You will be doing the research, writing the outreach, running the campaigns and working the CRM yourself. Quality of pipeline matters far more here than volume of activity.
2. Key Responsibilities
Target Account Research & ICP
- Work out who our best-fit customers actually are in each market, and turn that into clear, usable target lists not just broad industry categories.
- Research target companies and decision-makers before reaching out: what they need, what they're currently doing, and why now might be the right moment to talk to them.
- Refine the target list continuously as you learn what actually converts, rather than treating it as a one-time exercise.
- Use an account-based approach where this is more effective than broad lead generation.
Outreach & Campaigns
- Run outreach and campaigns across LinkedIn, email, landing pages and other channels that make sense for B2B.
- Personalise messaging by segment rather than sending one generic version to everyone on the list.
- Improve messaging and targeting based on which conversations actually progress, not just on reply rates.
AI & Automation
- Use AI tools day to day to speed up research, personalisation and follow-up.
- Identify the repetitive parts of your process and, with technical support available, gradually turn them into reliable automations.
- Keep a human check on quality, accuracy and tone — automation should never mean sending things you haven't reviewed.
CRM & Sales Handover
- Keep the CRM clean and current, with every lead carrying a clear stage, source and next step.
- Every lead moves through the same clear stages — Prospect, Lead, MQL, SQL, Opportunity — so everyone knows exactly where it stands.
- These stage definitions are decided together with Management and the Sales team, not by you alone — and once agreed, they shouldn't be changed without checking with them first.
- Hand qualified leads to sales with enough context and background that they can act immediately, without having to ask you basic questions.
- When sales rejects or loses a lead, find out why, and actually use that reason to improve how you pick and approach leads next time — don't just note it down and move on.
Tracking, Testing & Reporting
- Track performance by lead quality and pipeline movement
- Test different messages, segments and channels in a structured way rather than changing everything at once.
- Put more time and budget behind what's actually producing qualified opportunities, and drop what isn't.
3. How Success Is Measured
This role is judged on outcomes, not activity. The primary measures are:
- Number and quality of qualified leads generated, including the percentage that match the Ideal Customer Profile (ICP).
- Sales Accepted Leads (SAL) — leads that sales agrees are worth pursuing.
- Meetings and demos booked with target accounts.
- Sales Qualified Leads (SQL) generated from the pipeline you build.
- Conversion rate from lead to meeting, and from meeting to opportunity.
- Marketing-generated pipeline value.
- Cost per qualified lead.
- Lead quality by channel, so effort and budget go where they actually work.
4. Required Qualifications
- 2–4 years of hands-on experience in B2B growth marketing, lead generation, demand generation or a similar role.
- Able to show B2B leads you personally generated and moved forward — not just campaigns you ran or content you produced.
- Solid understanding of how a B2B sales funnel works, from first contact through to a qualified opportunity, and comfort applying that in practice.
- Hands-on experience with LinkedIn and email prospecting, including writing your own outreach messaging.
- Already using modern AI tools in daily work, with a genuine interest in learning AI agents and automation further.
- Comfortable working with data — conversion rates, cost per lead, pipeline value — and being measured on those outcomes.
- Clear, persuasive written English for a business audience.
- Able to work independently with limited supervision, and willing to work from the Jaipur office.
5. Preferred Skills
- Experience working in a niche or specialised B2B market.
- Familiarity with lead-enrichment or prospecting tools, or marketing automation platforms.
- Basic comfort with no-code tools, APIs or webhooks — useful, but we can teach this.
- Prior exposure to construction, real estate or property-management sectors.
