Inside Sales Representative at Streamline Services Inc in Durham, NC

Description:

We're not your typical home services company. At Streamline Services, we're a tight-knit team driven by our shared core values and a genuine love for what we do. If you believe great sales start with great customer service, and you're looking for a place where your hard work is appreciated and your manager invests in you, then you've found your home!

As an Inside Sales Representative (ISR), you'll work with homeowners who have already received an estimate from one of our technicians. Your job isn't to pressure customers into a decision—it's to help them make the right decision with confidence. You'll learn about each customer's situation, understand what matters most to them, answer questions, remove obstacles, and consistently follow up so customers never feel forgotten. You are the bridge between the customer's initial estimate and their decision to move forward.

What You'll Be Doing

Own the Customer Follow-Up Experience

• Follow up with customers who have received estimates for plumbing, electrical, and HVAC service work.
• Maintain consistent communication through phone, text, and email.
• Follow established follow-up timelines and ensure no customer opportunity falls through the cracks.
• Stay organized and manage multiple customer opportunities based on urgency and priority.
• Continue professional follow-up even when customers aren't immediately ready to decide.

Be a Customer Advocate

• Approach every conversation with the goal of understanding the customer's needs—not simply making a sale.
• Help homeowners navigate decisions involving potentially significant investments in their homes.
• Ask thoughtful questions to uncover what's most important to the customer.
• Listen carefully to concerns about price, timing, performance, reliability, and other factors.
• Build trust by being knowledgeable, responsive, and genuinely helpful.

Embrace the Culture: Commit to being Dependable, Positive, and Eager to Learn, Humble, Process Driven, and Dedicated—these aren't just words; they're how we operate every day.

Requirements:

You're a Great Fit If:

• You're naturally curious and enjoy talking with people, and can build rapport quickly over the phone.
• You're an excellent listener who can ask thoughtful questions and genuinely understand another person's perspective.
• You're comfortable discussing money and helping customers navigate significant purchases.
• You're persistent and organized, and you take ownership of your commitments.
• You can manage multiple priorities without losing track of details.
• You're comfortable using technology and CRM systems, and can communicate professionally through phone, text, and email.
• You're coachable and willing to continuously improve.
• You're able to sit and work at a computer for 6+ hours, and speak and hear clearly on the phone.

What Success Looks Like

• Responding quickly to high-priority opportunities and keeping your follow-up commitments.
• Maintaining accurate and thorough documentation.
• Having meaningful conversations rather than simply reading scripts.
• Building trust with customers and converting opportunities by helping them make informed decisions.
• Communicating effectively with technicians, administrators, and leadership.

Your Unbeatable Benefits Package

• Base Pay paired with Performance Bonuses that offer unlimited earning potential.
• 401k with a 3% Company Match.
• 100% Employer-Paid Medical and Dental Insurance.
• 2 Weeks PTO and 6 Holidays.
• Special Paid PTO Day for your Birthday and a loved one's birthday!
• Dedicated weekly 1:1 meeting time with your Manager.
• A supportive team that celebrates success and gives back to the community!

The process gives you the roadmap. Your ability to connect with people makes the difference. If you love helping people, solving problems, and building trust—and you also enjoy the challenge of achieving measurable sales results—we'd love to meet you.
