Job Description
Summary: Strata Decision Technology is seeking an Intern for their Software Quality Engineering program. This internship offers a full-time, 10-week experience where candidates will engage in meaningful projects, receive mentorship, and learn about the software development process while leveraging AI technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Provide insight into all aspects of the development process including work agility best practices
- Be a part of one of our development teams, guided by a senior engineer
- Spend time learning about how we keep up with the market and decide what to build into the product, as well as how we build our product in an agile fashion
- Leverage AI to improve the automated testing of Strata's Axiom Higher Education software suite and with GitHub Copilot, Typescript, and the Playwright UI automation framework to further explore how AI can be more effectively leveraged for exploration into edge-case testing
Required Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher with graduation date in Winter 2026 or Spring 2027, in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field
- You seek out challenges and feel that a big part of your value is your ability to solve problems
- You enjoy experimenting with new tools and programming techniques
- You like to take an idea and run with it and can work with limited guidance when necessary
