Summary: StepStone Hospitality is currently seeking individuals for the positions of General Maintenance Engineer at the Le Meridien Sheraton Charlotte Hotel. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will maintain the hotel's assets through ongoing preventative maintenance programs and ensure that all mechanical systems are operating in accordance with the hotel's standards, promoting quality service to achieve maximum guest satisfaction. Responsibilities: - Assist with maintaining hotel, performing minor and routine painting, wallpaper upkeep, plumbing, electrical wiring, and other related maintenance activities - Replace air conditioner filters - Maintain, air conditioners, cooling towers and boilers to provide heat, cool air, and hot water for guests - Maintain standards of quality guest service - Tend to pool area including chemical balancing, cleaning, etc - Increase level of guest satisfaction by delivery of an exceptional product through employee development - Respond and resolve guest requests, complaints, or questions in a courteous and timely manner Required Qualifications: - Minimum lifting of 70 pounds - Pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity - Hearing, writing, typing - Minimum pulling of 70 pounds Required Skills: Preventative Maintenance, Painting, Wallpaper Upkeep, Plumbing, Electrical Wiring, Air Conditioner Maintenance, Cooling Tower Maintenance, Boiler Maintenance, Pool Chemical Balancing
