COMMUNICATIONS & DIGITAL INFRASTRUCTURE SERVICES
Our Communications & Digital Infrastructure Services team has a long history of executing M&A transactions and other capital markets advisory projects for services companies supporting the connectivity & digital infrastructure industry. Stephens is known as a trusted advisor in the sector with deep industry knowledge, transaction execution experience, and a reputation for quality. Our firm has been involved in some of the most transformative transactions in the space, with more than $40 billion in M&A and capital markets activity over the past decade.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As an Associate at Stephens, you will play a central role on deal teams, helping drive live engagements, mentor analysts and develop the judgment and leadership expected of senior investment banking professionals. Associates are entrusted with important workstreams across financial analysis, due diligence and the creation and presentation of client materials. These tasks include:
- Driving transaction execution in collaboration with other deal team members
- Developing and reviewing financial models, valuation analyses, comparable company analysis and other transaction-related analyses
- Creating and presenting client-facing materials, including Confidential Information Presentations, management presentations, and marketing pitches
- Helping plan and execute live engagements, including due diligence, process management and coordination with clients and other counterparties
- Conducting company, industry, buyer/investor and market research
- Training, mentoring and developing analysts
- Building relationships and maintaining direct contact with current and prospective clients
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of investment banking experience or an MBA with 1+ years of experience as an investment banking associate
- Experience advising clients in the services space is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree
- Strong analytical, financial modeling and valuation skills, including the ability to review and guide analyst work product
- Demonstrated ability to manage workstreams and prioritize assignments in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
- High level of personal integrity, accountability and attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to respecting and safeguarding confidential information and adherence to regulatory requirements
