Job Description
Summary: Stellar is offering a Maintenance Intern position for Summer 2026, where you will gain hands-on experience in ensuring the efficient operation of production equipment. The role involves performing preventive maintenance tasks and supporting the maintenance team with day-to-day activities.
Responsibilities:
- Aid the maintenance team in performing routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks on production equipment and machinery to ensure maximum efficiency and uptime
- Support the maintenance team in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic issues that arise in the production equipment
- Provide general assistance in maintaining the facility, including keeping work areas clean, organizing tools, and assisting in larger repair or renovation projects as needed
- Willingness to take direction from area supervision and follow that direction
- Continually demonstrates a productive and non-disruptive work ethic
- Follows all company safety rules as laid out in the company safety manual and all other company policies
- Maintain company equipment and work areas in a clean and orderly manner
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:

- Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic and other systems
- Basic understanding of general maintenance processes and methods
- Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
- Works well as team member
- Able to follow orders of supervisor
- Read blueprints and other technical documents
- Have mechanical skills
- Must be able to lift heavy objects, stand for long periods, and work in industrial environments
Preferred Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled undergraduate student studying maintenance, industrial technology, mechanical engineering, or other related field
