Senior Engineer

The Stellantis Software Organization (SWX) was established in 2021 with an entirely new vision for the driver experience, and our mission to build the most captivating experiences in the latest frontier of Automotive Technology. We are seeking technology game changers to lead the digital transformation to this new world of automotive technology with a focus on the customer experience.

This position will function as a member of the Base Software (BSW) Configuration group in the SWX organization at Stellantis. As a member of this team, you will have a direct impact on creating an evolving software platform for the next generation ECU’s. If you have a good understanding of modern safety critical electronic control units embedded software development and have an interest in state-of-the-art automated driving, In-Vehicle-Infotainment (IVI) compute platforms and emerging computational technologies this position is right for you.

The candidate will be responsible for Operating Systems/Hypervisor development and Integration for various ECU’s on Stellantis vehicles.

You will be working with a team of talented engineers to develop OS and hypervisors features for various types of ECUs used in Stellantis vehicles. You will be working in an agile environment to develop software for the latest high performance automotive SoCs to support various components like ADAS, in-cabin cameras, audio, displays, etc. This will be a challenging and fun role for contributing to the emergence of the next generation Stellantis cabin experience.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related degree field.
• Minimum 4-8 years of embedded software development experience using C and C++.
• Working experience with Operating Systems such as QNX, Linux, and working with Hypervisor.
• Working experience developing and configuring device drivers for various buses such as UART, SPI, USB, PCIe, I2C etc.
• Experience debugging & troubleshooting embedded system software and hardware using tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, debuggers.
• Good hands on understanding of linux internals (build/config/tune).
• Good experience in CLI and Python, shell scripting.
• Good experience working with Yocto Linux, Hypervisors, Dockers, QEMU, etc.Boot
• Good experience with various build environments and CI/CD process.
• Nice to have Scrum Master experience.
