Job Description
Summary: State Street is one of the largest custodian banks and asset managers in the world, and they are seeking an intern to join their Multi Asset Strategy team. The role involves contributing to research insights, gathering market data, and publishing market recaps while staying informed on financial market conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to research insights, trade ideas, and Charts of the Week publications
- Gather market data using Bloomberg and other data resources for strategists
- Assist in specific requests from internal teams and external clients for charts and presentations
- Stay up to date and informed on the major themes in FX, fixed income, and equity markets
- Publish a daily market recap for Asia clients
Required Qualifications:
- A strong work ethic and an ability to work under pressure
- You must have a strong knowledge of Excel and Powerpoint
- You must have a strong background in Macroeconomics
- An interest in the issues facing the global economy and how these impact investment decisions
- A thirst for knowledge regarding financial markets and what drives them
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous co-op experience preferred
