Summary: The State of Oregon is seeking a Financial Services Intern for the Department of Consumer & Business Services. This internship will provide real experience in financial services and involve reviewing, analyzing, and suggesting improvements related to the agency's financial projects. Responsibilities: - Partner with State of Oregon professionals and work on DCBS projects to review, analyze, and suggest improvements related to work done in Financial Services for the agency - Gain knowledge and grow skills necessary to be a State of Oregon professional - Learn how to apply for future jobs and participate in networking opportunities across the State of Oregon Required Qualifications: - Be enrolled in college at least half time at the time of application - Be at least 18 years of age by the time the program starts on June 15, 2026 - Demonstrated ability with Microsoft computer applications, specifically Word, Excel, Outlook and TEAMS - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to clearly present information - Skills in team engagement; problem-solving and resolution - Some knowledge of financial concepts and methodologies - Experience in financial analysis, economics, or accounting and/or classes in finance, economics, or accounting Required Skills: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft TEAMS, Team engagement, Financial concepts, Financial analysis, Economics, Accounting
