Job Description
Summary: Stantec is a company committed to providing real-world experience through internships. The On-Call Environmental Science Intern will support the Environmental Services team with various environmental compliance projects and gain hands-on experience in the water and energy industry.
Responsibilities:
- Support data collection efforts for various environmental-related projects
- Data entry and some report preparation
- Manage technical data and prepare tables and figures
- Maintain field gear
Required Qualifications:
- Strong ethic and ability to work unsupervised
- Willingness to learn and follow directions
- Ability to work well independently and with a diverse, multi-disciplinary team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Self-motivated with strong initiative
- Creative, resourceful, and detail-oriented
- Positive and energetic attitude
- High School Diploma
Preferred Qualifications:
- Some College Experience Preferred
