Job Description
Summary: Stantec is a Top 10 global design firm specializing in Architecture, Buildings Engineering, and Interior Design services. They are seeking passionate interns to assist in the design process, develop documentation, and support project teams in creating innovative design solutions.
Responsibilities:
- We are looking for a passionate, hard-working designer to help in the design process, 3D development, selecting and ordering finishes, assisting in organizing and preparing for meetings, incorporating designs into Revit, and help produce presentation materials
- Conducts basic interpretations of sketches, drawings, codes, program, and other similar material
- Supports project team in development of interior design documentation and presentation materials
- Assists in the development of a design through sketches, physical models, electronic models, diagrams, massing studies, and other visual formats to continue to project space planning, lighting, material selection, and furniture design
- Utilizes BIM technologies in development of three-dimensional models of interiors and their components to develop construction documents
- Assists in research of concept, benchmarks, materials, typology, and precedents
Required Qualifications:
- Experience in Revit, Sketch-Up, Rhino, Illustrator, Photoshop, PowerPoint, and InDesign
- Must be in the process of obtaining an Architecture degree from a NAAB-accredited institution
- Must be in the 3rd or 4th year of undergraduate degree or in a master's program
