Summary: Standard Metrics is an AI-driven financial data platform that helps investors and their portfolio companies make more informed, forward-looking decisions with automated reporting and benchmarking tools. In this role, you will work directly with investment data from venture capital customers and startup partners, processing and ensuring the accuracy of financial data while collaborating with various departments. Responsibilities: - Process investment data from venture capital firms - Process income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements from startups - Assist in the successful implementation and onboarding of new customers - Process account information and other documents by resolving inconsistencies and reviewing data for errors using standard data workflows - Review discrepancies in data received and ensure data accuracy on platform - Collaborate with product and engineering on streamlining data workflows and evolving technology Required Qualifications: - 1+ years of full-time experience in accounting, banking, economics, or a related finance-adjacent role - Major in finance, accounting, or data analytics - Preliminary understanding of Venture Capital and startup investment structures - Intermediate working knowledge of spreadsheets - Ability to communicate clearly and meet deadlines - Reliable, trustworthy and driven by a hunger to learn - Passion for technology, startups, and entrepreneurship Required Skills: Accounting, Data Analytics Important Skills: Venture Capital Knowledge, Spreadsheet Proficiency Nice-to-Have Skills: Passion for Technology, Communication Skills, Reliability Benefits: Health and dental insurance : We cover you and your family's medical/dental/vision insurance 100% in the USA.
