Job Description
Summary: ST Engineering MRAS is a pioneer in the production and assembly of complex aerostructures including aircraft and rocket components. They are seeking an NDT Level II Technician to perform inspections, evaluate test results, and provide acceptance/rejection dispositions according to customer requirements and technical procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Perform inspections to customer requirements and technical procedures
- Perform evaluation of test results and provide acceptance/rejection disposition
- Collaborate with Level 3 in the creation of technique sheets
- Maintenance of equipment and calibration
- Control of Safety related equipment
- Comply with all safety and PPE requirements
- Ability to work flexible shifts to support production
Required Qualifications:
- HS diploma / GED equivalent
- Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience
- Current or recent certifications to NAS 410 Level 2 in the Ultrasonic NDT method, with familiarization of both pulse echo and through transmission techniques
- Composites structure evaluation knowledge
- Basic knowledge in MS Word and Excel and ability to read blue prints is highly preferred
- Candidate to successfully pass internal examination within 45 days
- Participate in mandatory FAA Drug Test program
Preferred Qualifications:
- Current or recent certifications to NAS 410, Penetrant, Radiographic, and Eddy Current NDT methods
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to interface effectively with all levels within the company as well as organizations outside STE (regulatory agencies)
