Summary: ST Engineering iDirect is a leader in satellite communications, seeking passionate Software Engineering Interns to join their Intuition Platform Team. Interns will work alongside experienced engineers to design, build, and test innovative software solutions in a fast-paced Agile environment. Responsibilities: - Work collaboratively with talented engineers to design, build, and test cutting‑edge software solutions - Contribute to automated testing frameworks and application development - Participate in code reviews, debugging sessions, and hands‑on troubleshooting - Create clear, concise documentation for systems and features - Receive daily guidance and mentorship from senior engineers who want to see you grow Required Qualifications: - Experience with at least one programming language (Java, C++, Python, etc.) - Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Development, or a related field - Familiarity with Agile methodologies and modern software development practices - Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles - Strong problem‑solving abilities and a collaborative mindset - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - A genuine passion for technology and a desire to keep learning Preferred Qualifications: - Ability to commit 12–15 weeks during Summer 2026 - Experience with distributed systems or cloud technologies - Exposure to machine learning or recommendation systems - Prior internship or project experience in software development - Familiarity with Git or other version control systems - Interest in telecommunications, satellite communications, or networking Required Skills: Programming languages, Agile methodologies, Data structures, Algorithms, Software design principles
