Summary: SPIROL is a global manufacturer known for innovation, precision, and continuous improvement. This internship provides hands-on experience working alongside engineering and manufacturing professionals while contributing to meaningful projects that impact daily operations.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate existing procedures and production methods for improvement opportunities
- Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives and engineering projects
- Perform time studies to support production and item creation standards
- Assist with new or upgraded process and equipment implementation projects
- Support process development, improvement, and documentation efforts
- Develop procedures, forms, checklists, and schedules to support manufacturing activities
- Research new technologies, equipment, and supplies to improve operations
- Collaborate with plant personnel, office staff, suppliers, and contractors as needed
- Gain hands on experience in a fast paced manufacturing environment
Required Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate Engineering or Technical program at an accredited college or university
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Familiar with AutoCAD and 3D CAD modeling
- Ability to work effectively in a manufacturing environment
- Strong work ethic, initiative, and attention to detail
