Optometry Partner - Helensburgh at Specsavers in Helensburgh, SCT

50% Optometry Partnership Opportunity

Helensburgh Specsavers

Own half of a successful, established business in one of Scotland's most desirable coastal communities.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to acquire a 50% Optometry Partnership share in Specsavers Helensburgh, a well-established and highly regarded store with a strong reputation, loyal customer base and excellent potential for future growth.

Located in the heart of Helensburgh's town centre, directly opposite the train station, the store benefits from a prime high street position, excellent visibility and strong transport connections to Glasgow and the surrounding areas. Serving an affluent and predominantly mature patient demographic, the business enjoys a loyal customer base and a strong focus on clinical excellence.

A Strong Clinical Business

The store has recently undergone significant investment, including a store boost and dedicated Hearcare room completed in November 2025, creating an enhanced environment for both customers and colleagues.

Key features include:

• Two optical test rooms
• Dedicated Hearcare room with flexibility for future clinical capacity
• OCT technology in store
• Scottish Specialist Supplementary Independent Prescribing services
• Convenient patient access with free parking nearby and excellent public transport links
• Consistently short patient wait times

The business offers an excellent platform for an optometrist looking to develop clinical services further while continuing to deliver exceptional patient care.

An Experienced and Stable Team

One of the store's key strengths is its highly experienced and committed team.

The clinical team includes long-serving Specsavers optometrists, with extensive experience across the business and a strong focus on professional development. The retail team is equally well established, bringing decades of optical experience and providing a strong operational foundation.

The culture is widely described as:

• Collaborative
• Supportive
• Empowering
• Customer-focused

With minimal reliance on locums, excellent colleague retention and a dedicated store manager in place, the business offers stability alongside opportunity.

Significant Growth Potential

Already performing strongly, the store presents clear opportunities for future development. Areas of focus include continued growth in customer conversion, maximising the benefits of recent investment and further expanding clinical services within an affluent and loyal patient base.

With a recently completed store boost, a highly engaged team and a reputation for excellent customer care, the incoming partner will be joining a business with strong foundations and genuine scope to shape its future direction.

The Opportunity

Whether you're an established Specsavers partner looking for your next venture or an ambitious optometrist ready to take your first step into ownership, Helensburgh offers a compelling opportunity to become an equal partner in a successful and respected business.
