Job Title: Steward / Waiter

Department: Food & Beverage Service

Location: Mumbai/ Pune/Ahemdabad/Chennai & Bhubaneshwar

Reports To: Captain / Restaurant Manager

Job Summary

The Steward is responsible for providing excellent guest service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience for guests while adhering to company service standards.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Service

• Welcome and assist guests in a courteous and professional manner.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and communicate them to the kitchen/bar.
• Serve food and beverages as per established service standards.
• Attend to guest requests promptly and efficiently.
• Ensure guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience.

Operations

• Prepare and set up tables before service.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, service stations, and equipment.
• Assist in opening and closing duties of the outlet.
• Ensure proper handling of crockery, cutlery, glassware, and service equipment.
• Coordinate with kitchen and service team for smooth operations.

Sales & Upselling

• Promote menu items, specials, and beverages.
• Upsell products to enhance guest experience and increase revenue.

Compliance

• Follow hygiene, grooming, and food safety standards.
• Adhere to company policies and operational procedures.
• Ensure workplace cleanliness and safety at all times.

Candidate Profile

Education

• Minimum Higher Secondary (12th Pass).
• Hotel Management qualification preferred.

Experience

• 03 years of experience in restaurants, hotels, cafs, or hospitality establishments.
• Freshers with good communication skills may also apply.

Skills

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive attitude and customer-service orientation.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage service.
• Willingness to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays.
