Job Description
Summary: Sparksoft Corporation is a tech company focused on revolutionizing IT solutions for government clients. They are seeking a Technology Intern to support technical problem-solving initiatives, assist in identifying challenges, and contribute to research related to digital tools and emerging technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Support CMS Hub initiatives focused on technical problem-solving, innovation, and modernization
- Assist in identifying technical challenges, system gaps, process inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities
- Analyze technical or operational issues and help develop practical solution recommendations
- Support research related to digital tools, data systems, automation, cybersecurity, cloud, AI, or emerging technologies
- Contribute to technical documentation, workflow analysis, testing support, and issue tracking
- Assist with data review, trend identification, and preparation of technical findings
- Collaborate with team members to explore solutions that improve efficiency, reliability, usability, and service delivery
Required Qualifications:
- Strong interest in technology, data, systems, healthcare technology, or digital transformation
- Ability to analyze problems, organize information, and communicate findings clearly
- Basic experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, or similar tools
- Ability to learn new systems, tools, and technical concepts quickly
- Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and complete assigned technical or analytical tasks
- Currently enrolled in, or recently graduated from, an accredited high school, associate's, bachelor's, or graduate-level program
- Preferred fields of study include Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, Health Informatics, Public Health, Business Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields
- No specific certifications required
- Relevant coursework, bootcamps, technical training, or certifications in data analytics, cloud computing, cybersecurity, Agile, AI, or programming are beneficial
Preferred Qualifications:
- Academic, internship, volunteer, or project-based exposure to IT, data analytics, software development, cybersecurity, cloud, AI, automation, or systems analysis
- Familiarity with tools or concepts such as SQL, Python, Power BI, Tableau, Jira, GitHub, APIs, databases, Agile, testing, or technical documentation
- Exposure to healthcare technology, federal programs, public-sector systems, or process improvement
- Experience reviewing data, identifying patterns, preparing summaries, or supporting technical recommendations
- Interest in applying technology to improve healthcare operations and public service delivery
