Job Description
Summary: Sparksoft Corporation is a transformative tech company focused on revolutionizing IT solutions for government clients. They are seeking a Business Analyst Intern to assist in gathering and analyzing business requirements, supporting technical discussions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Be mentored by a professional full-time staff member within the project team
- Gain hands-on exposure to healthcare IT initiatives and federal systems
- Assist in gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and functional requirements
- Support requirements traceability, user stories, and acceptance criteria development
- Analyze system workflows, data flows, and process diagrams
- Participate in requirement walkthroughs, and technical discussions
- Assist with validating solutions to ensure business needs are met
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast paced, agile environment
- Demonstrate eagerness to learn both business and technical aspects of system delivery
Required Qualifications:
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to learn quickly, listen effectively, and maintain a positive attitude
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Experience or coursework involving analysis, logic, or structured problem-solving (e.g., computer science, mathematics, or research)
- Ability to analyze technical information and translate it into business-friendly documentation
Preferred Qualifications:
- Academic or research experience involving data analysis, algorithms, or structured modeling
- Familiarity with Agile or Scrum concepts
- Exposure to AWS Cloud, DevSecOps concepts, or system integrations is a plus
- 0–2 years of experience; formal training and mentorship will be provided
- Exposure to one or more of the following technologies is a plus: HTML, CSS, Java, Visual Studio, .NET, Node.js, AngularJS
- Any additional technical or analytical skills will be considered a plus
