Production Manager - CNC & VMC

We are looking for an experienced Production Manager with strong expertise in CNC Turning and VMC Milling operations for an engineering component manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute production as per planned and forecasted demand.
• Monitor production targets, production norms and overall shopfloor performance.
• Conduct daily production meetings and ensure smooth production operations.
• Manage CNC tools including selection, purchase, rework, reuse, standardization and tool history.
• Manage CNC programs and ensure effective program utilization.
• Manage manpower including Setters, Shift In-charges and Machine Operators.
• Monitor OEE data, analyze daily performance and take corrective actions to achieve targets.
• Monitor multi-machine operations and optimize production output.
• Support New Product Development and manufacturing process implementation.
• Handle corrective actions for production-related non-conformances.
• Maintain shopfloor layout, cleanliness and operational discipline.
• Prepare and monitor production KPIs and management reports.
• Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Tool Room and other departments for smooth production.

Required Competencies:

• Minimum 15 years of experience in Production Management in an engineering/component manufacturing company.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of CNC Turning and VMC Milling processes is mandatory.
• Experience in managing CNC/VMC production operations and shopfloor teams.
• Knowledge of engineering drawing study, machine selection, tool selection and manufacturing process sequencing.
• Strong experience in tool selection, tool design and tool purchase.
• Tool Room working experience is preferred.
• Experience with ERP platforms is required.
• Good knowledge of production planning, OEE, KPI monitoring and process improvement.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 requirements.
• Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong team management, communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive production strategies.

Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech / Post Graduation in Mechanical Engineering

Experience: 15+ Years

Maximum Age: 45 Years

Salary: Up to 10 LPA
