Production Helper at SP MAMPLASAN PACKAGING CORP. in Biñan City

JOB PURPOSE

The Production Helper assists machine operators and production personnel in the efficient, safe and orderly operation of the corrugated board and box manufacturing process. The position is responsible for material handling, machine support, product inspection, housekeeping and other production-related activities as assigned.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

• Assist machine operators in the operation and production of corrugated boards and boxes.
• Load, unload, transfer and properly stack raw materials, work-in-process and finished products.
• Assist in feeding paper, boards, sheets and other materials into production machines as instructed.
• Collect, count, bundle, palletize and properly label finished products.
• Assist in checking products for visible defects, incorrect dimensions, printing issues, damage, or other quality concerns.
• Ensure proper segregation of good products, rejects, and defective materials.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper housekeeping around the assigned production area.
• Follow established Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), quality standards, and production procedures.
• Strictly comply with company Safety and Occupational Health policies, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Report machine abnormalities, unsafe conditions, product defects, material shortages, and other production concerns immediately to the assigned supervisor or line leader.
• Assist in minor cleaning and basic upkeep of machines and equipment as directed by authorized personnel.
• Follow proper handling and storage procedures for raw materials, finished products, and production tools.
• Assist in changeovers, cleaning activities, and other production requirements when assigned.
• Maintain proper discipline, attendance, punctuality, and compliance with company rules and regulations.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities that may be reasonably assigned by the Production Supervisor or Management.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• At least High School Graduate or equivalent.
• Preferably with experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Experience in corrugated board, packaging, printing, or similar manufacturing operations is an advantage.
• Physically fit and capable of performing manual handling and repetitive production tasks.
• Willing to work on a shifting schedule, overtime, weekends, and holidays when required.
• Willing to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Can follow instructions and standard operating procedures.
• With good work attitude, discipline, and sense of responsibility.
• Able to work effectively as part of a team.

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Primarily assigned within the manufacturing/production area.
• May be exposed to machine noise, paper dust, heat, and other normal manufacturing conditions.
• Requires prolonged standing and frequent movement.
• May require lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of materials or products within safe working limits.
• Strict compliance with company GMP, quality, housekeeping, and safety requirements is required.

Pay: From Php15,648.00 per month
