The Engineering Intern will work with the engineering team to perform cable teardowns and analyze material composition, contributing to real-world applications of their academic studies. Responsibilities: - Conducting cable teardowns to document constituent material usage - Analyzing the amount of pull‑down on neutral wires as they move through the plant - Studying wire draw processes and measuring wire size as it exits the draw machine - Performing hands‑on physical work, including measurement and data collection Required Qualifications: - Minimum 2.5 GPA - Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering - Reliable transportation to and from work - Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team - Strong organization, planning, and analytical skills - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) or other relevant tools Required Skills: Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Important Skills: Data Analysis, Microsoft Office Suite Nice-to-Have Skills: Planning Skills, Team Collaboration, Communication Skills, Organizational Skills Benefits: 401k with Matching & Pension Plan (Eligible for Pension after 1,000 Hours Worked), Flexible Work Schedules
