HR Administrator at Southdown in Lewes, England, GB

What you’ll be doing: Southdown is the largest not-for-profit provider of care, support and housing in Sussex. We’ve been helping people access stable accommodation, mental health and care services since 1972, and today more than 900 people are part of our team.

As an HR Administrator (known internally as a People Services Administrator), you’ll join our People Services team, providing high-quality administrative support across the employee lifecycle. This includes recruitment and onboarding, absence management, training, employee relations and offboarding.

You’ll be a key point of support for colleagues and managers, helping to ensure our People processes are accurate, responsive and run smoothly. You’ll need to be organised, comfortable managing a varied workload and confident working with detailed and confidential information.

This is an exciting time to join us as we continue to develop and improve our People Services function, including the introduction of a new HR ticketing system. If you’re looking for a varied role where no two days are quite the same, and where you can make a real contribution to the experience of our colleagues, we’d love to hear from you.

We welcome applications from people with experience in roles such as HR Administrator, People Administrator, Recruitment Administrator, Onboarding Administrator, HR Coordinator, HR Services Administrator or similar People/HR support roles.

• Free advice and counselling service: confidential emotional support and practical guidance from our independent telephone service.
