Summary: South Carolina Federal Credit Union is currently seeking a Finance Intern to join our team of outstanding Finance professionals in North Charleston, SC. This Internship position is required to be on-site at our headquarters and involves supporting the Finance department with daily and monthly responsibilities while promoting teamwork and adherence to guidelines. Responsibilities: - Support and actively demonstrate adherence to the Core Competencies - Positively exhibit and adhere to BLUE standards to exceed our members' expectations both internally and externally - Positively exhibit and adhere to Brand standards and strive to create Life Simplified moments for both employees and members - Support the Finance department with daily and monthly responsibilities - Work effectively and collaboratively with members of the Finance teams to support the needs of the business - Assist with monitoring and responding to requests - Promote and adhere to rules, regulations, policies, procedures and guidelines pertaining to duties and responsibilities of respective area(s) - Support and promote teamwork among all areas of the credit union - All other duties and responsibilities as assigned Required Qualifications: - Pursuing an undergraduate degree at an accredited college or university, and will have a cumulative GPA of at least a 2.8 - Possess similar or related experience - Possess experience communicating professionally and effectively both verbally and in writing - Possess strong attention to detail - Possess the ability to promptly and accurately multi-task and prioritize responsibilities to achieve objectives timely - Possess interpersonal skills and the ability to work cooperatively with others - Possess experience effectively utilizing the Internet for research and working with computers with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications - Possess the ability to take initiative without being prompted Required Skills: Microsoft Office Nice-to-Have Skills: Multi-tasking
