Position Summary
Are you organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn? We are looking for an Office Assistant to provide administrative support to our Customer Service and Purchasing departments. This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking to build a career in a professional manufacturing environment while gaining exposure to customer relations, purchasing, inventory support, and general office operations.

Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:35 PM
What You'll Do
Customer Service Support
- Process customer purchase orders and sales orders.
- Prepare order confirmations, shipping paperwork, and customer documentation.
- Respond to customer inquiries by phone and email.
- Provide customers with order status, shipment updates, and delivery information.
- Maintain accurate customer records and documentation.
- Assist the Customer Service team with daily administrative tasks.
Purchasing Support
- Create and process purchase orders.
- Communicate with vendors regarding order status, deliveries, and material availability.
- Maintain purchasing records and supplier information.
- Support inventory tracking and replenishment activities.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure materials are received on time.
- Organize and maintain purchasing files and records.
Administrative Support
- Perform accurate data entry and record management.
- Scan, copy, file, and organize company documents.
- Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and correspondence.
- Assist with office supply inventory and ordering.
- Support special projects and departmental initiatives as needed.
Qualifications
Required
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn new systems and processes.
Preferred
- Associate degree or coursework in Business Administration.
- Previous office, administrative, or customer service experience.
- Experience with ERP systems.
- Manufacturing industry experience is a plus, but not required.
