Summary: SonoThera is a venture capital-backed early-stage biopharmaceutical company developing ultra-sound-guided non-viral targeted gene therapies. The Protein Analytics Intern will support efforts to characterize gene therapy vectors delivery efficiency in diverse preclinical models while gaining hands-on experience. Responsibilities: - Learning Objectives - By the end of this internship, the intern will understand: - Tissue / sample handling - Assay execution (ELISA, MSD, capillary Western blot, other 96-well plate-based assays) - Safe lab practices and basic laboratory skills - Data analysis, slide preparation, and presentation - Documentation (i.e. Benchling) and organizational skills Required Qualifications: - Eagerness for learning - Basic understanding of high school level biology / chemistry - Creativity and the ability to work within an interdisciplinary team to achieve technical and corporate milestones - Strong verbal and written communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills - Strong record-keeping and organizational skills Important Skills: Assay execution, Data analysis, Sample handling
