POSITION SUMMARY Under general supervision, transports specimens, reports, and supplies between various hospitals and medical facilities and the main laboratory.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/ENVIRONMENT FACTORS Job involves frequent communication in person, by radio and writing. Pickup and deliveries may weigh up to 25 pounds. Must be able to operate Company vehicle in a safe, defensive driving manner. Must be able to record time and other necessary information accurately. Job requires frequent communication by radio system, beeper or telephone.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Ability to train new drivers on job functions.
- Ability to operate a computer.
- Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Requires valid Arizona driver's license.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Additional related education and/or experience preferred.
