*Due to the nature of work that Sonic Healthcare UK undertakes, our clients require that Employees filling certain roles, need, as part of their on-boarding to complete a DBS Check. This role falls into the category of requiring a DBS check (enhanced)*
**About the role:**
It is an exciting and transformational time working with the Hertfordshire and West Essex NHS ICB. Sonic Healthcare UK has taken on the management of Phlebotomy and Pathology Laboratories in the geography including a phlebotomy cohort of circa 150 Phlebotomists.
There is a zero hour post opportunity available for an experienced phlebotomist. The role will be based at Hemel Hempstead Hospital with cross site working required at St Albans City Hospital. There is also the requirement to work in various phlebotomy settings such as outpatients, ward rounds at the West Herts Acute Site in Watford General Hospital. This role would require you attend some community clinics.
**Key duties will include:**
To be a valued phlebotomist in a motivated team with a patient care focus. To ensure professional and technical standards are maintained within the services at all times.
