Finance Intern, Treasury at SOLV Energy in San Diego, CA

Summary: SOLV Energy is a leading provider of infrastructure services to the power industry, and they are seeking a motivated and eager Intern to join their Finance Team. In this role, you will gain valuable hands-on experience while providing administrative support to project management teams and assisting with operational and financial reporting. Responsibilities: - Assisting in researching data, preparing and distributing financial reports, and analyzing variances - Assist team members with various operational tasks and projects - Contribute to financial risk management activities and audit tasks - Learn and apply industry-specific tools and software - Participate in team meetings and collaborate on initiatives Required Qualifications: - Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Finance, Accounting, Business etc - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal - Detail-oriented and highly organized - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Preferred Qualifications: - Prior internship or volunteer experience is a plus (but not required) Required Skills: Finance, Accounting, Microsoft Office Suite Important Skills: Communication skills Nice-to-Have Skills: Eagerness to learn, Detail-oriented, Organized, Teamwork
