Key Responsibilities
Prepare, review, and finalize financial statements, including Profit amp; Loss Statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow Reports.
Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, ensuring timely completion of reconciliations, accruals, and journal postings.
Handle Australian taxation and compliance activities, including BAS, IAS, FBT, and Income Tax Returns.
Deliver financial insights and analytical reports to support strategic business decisions.
Review work completed by junior accountants and provide guidance, training, and mentorship.
Coordinate with external auditors and assist in audit planning and compliance requirements.
Ensure accurate record-keeping and adherence to Australian accounting standards, statutory regulations, and internal controls.
Work closely with clients to address accounting, taxation, and compliance-related queries.
