Required Skills:
- Ensure proper maintenance of hydraulic and mechanical equipment/systems, guaranteeing safe and efficient operation in order to prevent accidents, disruptions, and prolonged production downtime.
- Comply with safety procedures on construction sites.
- Ensure order and cleanliness in the work environment.
- Identify equipment issues and malfunctions.
- Prepare reports on intervention times and costs.
- Repair faults and replace worn or damaged parts and components.
- Disassemble and reassemble parts of equipment.
- Ensure safe operation and productivity of equipment.
- Test equipment to verify that issues have been resolved.
- Perform routine and extraordinary maintenance activities on equipment.
- Update machine logs and provide the site manager/supervisor with a report of completed interventions.
- Support the manager in departmental activities.
- Knowledge of mechanical principles, procedures, and execution methods.
- Knowledge of equipment, including O&M manuals, performance, limitations, mechanical components and spare parts, and manufacturers.
- Ability to understand, interpret, and produce technical documentation (drawings, schematics, etc.).
- Knowledge of machinery assembly and disassembly techniques and related components.
- Knowledge of measurements and inspections required for mechanical, electronic, and pneumatic systems.
- Knowledge and use of tools and equipment appropriate for assigned tasks.
- Ability to diagnose (troubleshoot) mechanical problems and assess faults.
- Competence in routine and extraordinary maintenance, including detailed completion of maintenance/intervention logs.
- Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electronic fundamentals.
- Ability to develop accurate estimates of intervention time and costs.
