Job Description
Summary: Snap-on is a company that specializes in tools and equipment, and they are seeking a CNC Repair associate for their 1st shift. The role involves troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing equipment breakdowns on CNC machinery.
Responsibilities:
- Ensures operation of CNC machines and mechanical equipment
- Troubleshoots and repairs equipment and control issues
- Checks, analyzes, reconnects, and repairs hydraulic, pneumatic, belt-driven or gear drive machines
- Disconnects motors, solenoids and performs minor electrical repairs on de-energized circuits and equipment
- Rebuilds gear boxes and electrical motors
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma and one to three years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Previous CNC experience required
- Will be required to pass the eligibility test provided by Snap-on
- Ability to read and interpret part diagrams
- Ability to use shop mathematics, work with fairly complicated drawings, and good troubleshooting ability
- Demonstrated experience in electrical and/or electronic and mechanical maintenance including motors, controls, power supplies, AC/DC theory, power distribution, PLC's, hydraulics/pneumatics, lubrication, power transmission, pumps
