They are seeking a Core Product Design Intern to work with the Core Product Design team, where the intern will conceive innovative features, design user experiences, and communicate design concepts to leadership and peers. Responsibilities: - Conceive of innovative new features and pitch those concepts directly to the CEO - With the support of a CPD mentor, be a driver for all aspects of product design and execution, including pitching ideas, designing the experience (visual design, interaction design, and prototyping), and communicating the solutions to necessary audiences within the company - Design beautiful, simple, innovative, and intuitive experiences and flows - Identify the needs of Snapchatters, give high-level strategic input, and improve existing products and features - Communicate design decisions to leadership, product and design peers, and engineers Required Qualifications: - A portfolio showcasing your work and strong mobile design skills - Experience using design tools such as Figma - Currently enrolled in a BS/BA program with a graduation date no sooner than December 2026 - Must be able to start in office in May or June of 2026 for a 13-week internship - Excellent communication and presentation skills - Excellent visual design skills - Knowledge and passion for interaction design - Ability to prototype interactive mobile experiences - Ability to think creatively and develop novel solutions - Ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous work environment Preferred Qualifications: - A deep understanding of Snapchat products Required Skills: Visual design, Interaction design, Prototyping Important Skills: Figma Nice-to-Have Skills: Understanding Snapchat products, Creative thinking, Fast-paced work
