Job Description
Summary: Snap Finance is a company that provides flexible financing solutions using data and machine learning. They are seeking a detail-oriented and creative UI/UX Design Intern to support their digital product and eCommerce experiences, focusing on designing intuitive user-centered interfaces that enhance customer engagement and conversion.
Responsibilities:
- Support the design of user interfaces across web and mobile experiences, focusing on usability and visual consistency
- Assist in creating wireframes, mockups, and prototypes using tools like Figma
- Partner with Product and UX teams to translate business and user needs into thoughtful design solutions
- Contribute to user research efforts, including gathering insights and helping identify pain points in the customer journey
- Help maintain and evolve design systems, ensuring consistency across digital touchpoints
- Iterate on designs based on feedback, performance data, and usability testing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support feature launches and enhancements
- Ensure designs align with brand standards while optimizing for performance and user experience
Required Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field
- Basic understanding of UI/UX principles and user-centered design
- Experience with design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating intuitive user experiences
- Ability to take feedback and iterate quickly
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- A portfolio showcasing UI/UX projects (academic or personal projects are great)
- Familiarity with usability testing or user research methods
- Interest in eCommerce, digital products, or performance-driven design
- Experience working on collaborative or cross-functional projects
- Curiosity and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment
