The Opportunity

In this role, you will play a critical role in developing the skills, knowledge, and capabilities of our operations workforce by delivering hands-on training and supporting employee certification processes. You will work closely with site leadership, Operations Learning & Development, and production teams to ensure employees are trained to perform safely, efficiently, and consistently. This role directly impacts operational performance, safety, quality, employee development, and continuous improvement initiatives across the facility.
How You Will Make an Impact
Deliver hands-on technical and operational training to support employee skill development, job certification, and performance improvement.
Partner with Operations Learning & Development and site leadership to support onboarding, new hire orientation, and ongoing workforce development initiatives.
Assess employee knowledge, technical skills, and job readiness through structured evaluations and certification processes.
Develop and maintain training materials, standard operating procedures (SOPs), guided workflows, and other learning resources to support operational excellence.
Participate in hiring and selection activities by evaluating candidate skills and providing input on manufacturing experience and job suitability.
Track, evaluate, and measure training effectiveness using departmental training standards and learning management tools.
Promote a strong culture of safety, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement while serving as a role model for operational best practices.
Drive improvements in training efficiency, certification timelines, and overall workforce capability to support plant performance goals.
Ensure compliance with applicable safety, quality, and company standards

What You Need to Succeed
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
2+ years of experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Experience delivering training, coaching, mentoring, or on-the-job instruction.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical information effectively.
Ability to work on the production floor and support training activities across multiple shifts.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships, influence others, and work effectively across all levels of the organization.
Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Preferred Qualifications
1-3 years of experience conducting formal technical, operational, or on-the-job training in a manufacturing environment.
Experience supporting employee certification programs, skills assessments, or workforce development initiatives.
Knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and training record management.
Experience developing training materials, SOPs, guided workflows, or technical learning aids.
Facilitation and presentation experience with diverse employee groups.
Continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, or process improvement experience.
Experience participating in interview processes and evaluating candidate qualifications.
Train-the-Trainer certification or similar instructional training experience.
