SMK Solar Technology is seeking a Storekeeper to join our Abuja branch. We are looking for a highly organized, responsible, and detail-oriented individual who can effectively manage inventory and ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the store.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and properly document incoming goods and materials.
• Issue materials and equipment to authorized staff based on approved requests.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records.
• Monitor stock levels and identify items that require replenishment.
• Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile them with inventory records.
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, arrangement, and preservation of all items.
• Track movement of solar panels, inverters, batteries, cables, tools, and other company materials.
• Maintain proper documentation for all stock receipts, issues, transfers, and returns.
• Report damaged, missing, expired, or excess items to the appropriate supervisor.
• Ensure the store remains clean, organized, secure, and accessible.
• Support periodic stock audits and investigations into inventory discrepancies.
• Work closely with the Inventory, Logistics, Technical, and Sales teams to ensure timely availability of materials.
• Ensure compliance with company inventory and store management procedures.
• Perform other store-related duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Minimum of OND/HND/B.Sc. in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in storekeeping, inventory management, warehouse operations, or a similar role.
• Good knowledge of inventory control and stock management procedures.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Good computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel.
• Strong organizational and numerical skills.
• High level of attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be trustworthy, disciplined, and accountable.
• Previous experience in a solar, electrical, engineering, or technical environment is an added advantage.

What We’re Looking For

We need someone who understands that effective store management goes beyond simply keeping items in a warehouse. The ideal candidate must be able to account for every item, maintain accurate records, prevent stock losses, and ensure materials are available when needed.
