Summary: SMC Ltd. is a globally recognized premium supplier to the medical market, and they are seeking an Operator to play a critical role in manufacturing and assembling parts for lifesaving medical devices. The role involves operating assembly equipment, performing assembly processes, and contributing to continuous improvement efforts. Responsibilities: - You’ll be directly involved in the manufacturing process and assemble medical devices or sub-assemblies, operate assembly or packaging equipment and perform assembly processes using assembly fixtures and manual process - These parts are put into medical and industrial devices that are used by thousands of people around the globe every day - You’ll use precision measuring instruments, visually inspect products and report surface and dimension defects, and sometimes package them using a variety of tools, including robots - Depending on the job, sometimes you’ll put some of the parts together by hand - See something that could be improved?
