Summary: Skechers is a global Fortune 500® company that develops and markets a diverse range of lifestyle and performance footwear, apparel, and accessories. The internal audit intern will assist the team with various financial, compliance, and operational audits to ensure adherence to company policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities: - Work with Internal Audit team members and select financial and operational personnel in performing audit tasks - Learn about risk-based audit function across various operational processes - Contribute to internal audit documentation and testing while working closely with the US based team Required Qualifications: - Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field - Interest in pursuing Certified Public Account (CPA) or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) certification - Superior verbal and written communication skills - Basic understanding of accounting and auditing principles/standards - Ability to use and navigate Microsoft Office suite software programs - Eligible to work in the US without restrictions - Available to participate in our internship program from end of May/June to August/September 2026 in our Manhattan Beach, CA corporate office Preferred Qualifications: - Previous internship experience or coursework in auditing is preferred - Anticipated graduation date of Winter 2026 or Spring 2027 Required Skills: Accounting principles, Auditing principles, Microsoft Office Important Skills: CPA certification, CIA certification Nice-to-Have Skills: Internship experience Internship Start Date: Start in 2026 Summer
