Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced GCP Solution Architect with 8+ years of overall IT experience and strong hands-on expertise in Google Cloud Platform. The candidate will be responsible for designing scalable, secure, highly available, and cost-effective cloud solutions and working closely with customers, engineering teams, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end cloud solutions using Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable cloud architectures.
• Develop High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents.
• Design and implement GCP landing zones, cloud governance, networking, security, and IAM.
• Architect cloud migration and application modernization solutions.
• Design solutions using services such as GKE, Compute Engine, Cloud Run, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Dataflow, and other GCP services.
• Design highly available, fault-tolerant, and disaster-recovery architectures.
• Define cloud security, identity, access management, compliance, and governance strategies.
• Work with DevOps teams on Terraform/IaC, CI/CD, Kubernetes, and automation.
• Identify opportunities for cloud performance and cost optimization.
• Conduct architecture reviews, technical assessments, and solution workshops.
• Interact directly with customers and technical stakeholders and present proposed solutions.
• Provide technical guidance to development, DevOps, infrastructure, and security teams.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of overall IT experience with significant experience in cloud architecture.
• Strong experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Proven experience designing enterprise-scale GCP solutions.
• Strong knowledge of:
• GCP networking VPC, VPN, Cloud NAT, Load Balancing, Interconnect
• IAM and cloud security
• Compute Engine and GKE
• Cloud Storage and managed databases
• BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Dataflow
• Cloud Monitoring and Cloud Logging
• High availability, scalability, DR, and business continuity
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and containerization.
• Experience with Terraform / Infrastructure as Code.
• Understanding of CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Experience with cloud migration and modernization.
• Strong architecture documentation and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a customer-facing environment.
