They are seeking a passionate and curious News Intern for Summer 2026 to assist in researching, writing, and producing news stories across various platforms while gaining hands-on experience in modern journalism. Responsibilities: - Assist in researching, writing, and producing news stories for broadcast and digital platforms - Work alongside reporters, anchors, producers, and photographers—both in the newsroom and out in the field - Bring fresh story ideas to the table and help shape coverage that matters to our audience - Learn how to shoot video, frame compelling visuals, and understand what makes a story stand out - Gain exposure to control room operations and how live broadcasts come together in real time Required Qualifications: - Be at least 18 years of age - Be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program, or a recent graduate - Be at least a sophomore at an accredited college/university - Be eligible to work in the United States - Be available to work on-site at KSNV in Las Vegas, NV approximately 15 hours per week for 10 weeks - Be able to start between June 1 – June 19, 2026 - Have reliable transportation (housing/relocation is not provided) - Be passionate about local news, storytelling, and community impact - Thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Required Skills: Research skills, Video shooting Nice-to-Have Skills: Deadline management Internship Start Date: Start in 2026 Summer Benefits: Great benefits, Open door policy, Upward mobility, Strong desire to see you succeed
