Summary: Silicon Ranch Corporation is a fully integrated provider of customized renewable energy solutions. They are seeking a Data Analytics intern to work with various teams, leveraging solar data and tackling real-world problems in data science and computer science. Responsibilities: - Develop front-end and back-end software using an agile framework; use industry-standard protocols for data security and storage - Support building of charts and dashboards for Clearloop’s solar projects - Validate and analyze data regarding marginal emissions, energy prices, etc - Establish automated and manual tests for all code and dashboards created Required Qualifications: - An ideal candidate has interest in renewable energies and ability to interact cross functionally with different departments - Undergraduate, graduate, or recent post-grad able to commit 20-40 hours per week - Familiarity with making charts using a programming language such as Python or R; experience using Excel and Django is also a plus - Experience with HTML/CSS/JS and at least one JavaScript frontend framework (React or Angular preferred) - Experience with at least one backend solution (Firebase, SQL, AWS, etc.) - Experience with using RESTful API - Knowledge of how to use Git and GitHub Preferred Qualifications: - Previous experience with a cloud platform such as AWS and/or web hosting such as WordPress Required Skills: Python, JavaScript frameworks, RESTful API Important Skills: Django, SQL, AWS Nice-to-Have Skills: Excel, HTML/CSS, Git, GitHub, WordPress
